When you give credit, praise, or positive recognition to an employee, make sure the spotlight and attention is on them — not you. (I know a wedding photographer who asks the person who officiates to move to one side when it’s time for the couple to kiss so that the person who conducts the ceremony is not smackdab in the middle of the most important picture.)
