I just read that some North American corporations are paying consultants $20,000 per hour to help them engage their millennial workforce.
My first reaction was, “That’s ridiculous.” However, on second thought, I realized I have often given consulting clients the tools and techniques they need to reduce 90-day employee turnover by 30 percent in a one-hour meeting that easily saved these employers 10 times more than my fee.
Bottom line: Just make sure the results justify the expense.
